Wendy Wolter Named Administrator for Anna John Resident Centered Care Community
The Oneida Comprehensive Health Division (OCHD) is pleased to announce Wendy Wolter as the new Administrator for Anna John Resident Centered Care Community (AJRCCC).
Wolter brings more than three decades of healthcare experience to the role, along with a deep commitment to resident-centered care and a longstanding dedication to serving elders and their families. She most recently served as Director of Nursing at AJRCCC, where she provided leadership for nearly 15 years and helped advance high-quality care, clinical excellence, and resident well-being.

“Over the past two years, Wendy has worked diligently to obtain her Nursing Home Administrator license through Madison College. She successfully completed the required education and passed two national board examinations, along with the Wisconsin state examination. Throughout this process, she remained steadfast in her commitment to the residents of AJRCCC, consistently keeping their care, well-being, and quality of life at the forefront of her work,” said OCHD Director Debbie Danforth. “Her dedication to professional growth and resident-centered care reflects the leadership, perseverance, and passion she brings to the community each day.”
Wolter began her healthcare career as a certified nursing assistant in a long-term care setting. Over the years, she gained experience in group homes, home health services, hospital nursing, education, and healthcare administration. She has specialized expertise in long-term care administration, infection prevention, wound care, and care planning for elders.
“Caring for our residents is about more than meeting their healthcare needs. It is about preserving their dignity and building meaningful relationships every day,” said Wolter. “I am grateful for the opportunity to continue in this new role and look forward to working alongside our residents, families, and dedicated staff as we serve our community.”
Known for its commitment to resident-centered care, AJRCCC remains focused on creating a welcoming environment that supports individual choice, independence, and quality of life. The facility also maintained its 5-Star Medicare rating during the most recent Medicare inspections that focused on health inspections, staffing, and quality measures. Wolter’s leadership, experience, and dedication to elder care position her well to guide AJRCCC into the future while continuing its tradition of compassionate service.
The OCHD welcomes Wolter to her new role and looks forward to the continued positive impact of her leadership on residents, families, staff, and the community.
