I am Oglala Lakota from the Pine Ridge Reservation of South Dakota. My Lakota name is Wanbli Wiyaka Win which means Eagle Feather Woman. I have previously been employed by the Oneida Nation of Wisconsin Social Services in the Domestic Violence Program as a Domestic Violence Advocate and, also, by the Oneida Nation of Wisconsin Youth Enrichment Services (Y.E.S.) Program as a Youth Advocate. I am happily married for thirteen years and have three beautiful children.
